Personally committed to helping each client achieve their unique aesthetic vision, Erik has nearly three decades of experience using his design talents to realize successful commercial architecture projects in the South Florida market. While maintaining focus on the primacy of good design, Erik quickly learned the critical role scheduling and budget play in meeting the clients’ needs.

Over the years, Erik has accrued the knowledge, skills, and experience needed to strike the delicate balance between the art and business of architecture. “The project’s budget and schedule are a given that must be maintained; however, it is the architect’s mandate to incorporate design and innovation into all projects.”

Erik is a Miami native, happily married for over 20-years, and a proud father of two. Erik enjoys playing guitar and is an avid sports fan celebrating the Miami Dolphins, Miami Heat and Florida Gators.

With over 35 years of diverse experience in architectural design, project management and client relations, Ed brings a seasoned and holistic approach to every project. Ed holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Temple University and is a member of the American Institute of Architecture (AIA), certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Board (NCARB) and is a LEED Accredited Design Professional (LEED AP). A transplant from the Northeast Ed has embraced living in South Florida for over 10 years and has extensive experience with the design challenges of building in a High Velocity Wind Zones and dealing with the complexities of the flood codes. Ed has been married for 20 years and has 4 kids and enjoys spending his free time with the family out on the boat or watching or coaching basketball, football, and soccer.

Chris Mejia, Project Manager

Chris Mejia is a Project Manager at ELM ARCH. During the past 10 years Chris has refined his experience in the Architecture industry. Since 2015 he has managed projects ranging from residential and commercial architecture to interior and furniture design.  Chris prides himself on the logistics of managing a project from start to finish.

She is especially interested in the impact Architecture has on our everyday lives and environments. She has 7 years of experience working across commercial, residential and site planning projects.
